How does the 5-second fold actually work?

The MobiFree Folding Mobility Scooter uses a single-lever manual folding system. You lift one black lever located in the deck of the scooter, and the frame collapses into a compact rectangle. You can either lift the lever fully (about 5 seconds) or push it closed with one hand on the seat back and one on the tiller. No tools, no removing the battery, no detaching the seat.

Can I really lift it into my car by myself?

At 46 lbs with battery (42 lbs without), the MobiFree is one of the lightest 4-wheel travel scooters available. Most adults can lift it into a sedan trunk on their own. For even easier lifting, remove the battery and armrests first — that drops the weight closer to 38 lbs.

Is the battery approved for flights?

Yes. The 25.2V 10AH (252Wh) lithium battery meets FAA guidelines for carry-on air travel. Always confirm with your specific airline before each flight, as policies can change.

Why 4 wheels instead of 3?
