I’ve tried a couple of chairs before, but this one finally feels like it fits me. The wide seat makes a huge difference — I’m not squeezed in, and it actually feels stable and comfortable. The big tires do well on grass and rougher spots, and the motor has plenty of power. Inside I keep it on the lowest speed, but outside, I can move around quickly without any issues.
It does fold up nicely, and I like that it can roll like luggage, but I’ll be honest — it’s still heavy. Even without the batteries, lifting it by myself is tough, so I usually need help getting it into the car. The joystick is a little sensitive, but once you get used to it, it’s fine. I bought the Vulcan lift about 4 months later, and that definitely helped a lot.
Traveling with it was easier than I expected. The batteries are light, and the airline checked the chair at no cost. Just had to call ahead to the accessibility desk.
Overall, I’m happy with it. It’s not perfect — mainly because of the weight — but the comfort and space of the wide seat make it worth it for me.
